We moved into our home in Rowley Downs, one of the oldest but most unique subdivisions in Parker, Colorado, back in December of 2006. At that point in time, the exterior paint, which was a muted yellowish-beige color and still in decent shape, mattered very little to us. We were more concerned about living in a great location, close to good schools and local amenities. After a few years in the house, though, we noticed that the south and southwest sides of our house were getting weathered. This was due to the intense sunlight most Parker homes get throughout the course of a normal year.
Finally, in November of 2012, we decided to get our home painted. Greg the Painter, was our first and only choice to tackle this job. We had seen, and been impressed with, Greg’s work throughout Parker, and especially here in Rowley Downs. We had also heard very favorable comments about the quality of the work Greg is known for. Fortunately, the weather cooperated and we caught a series of 60 degree-plus days during mid-November. Greg and his paint crew started prepping on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, took Thursday off like the rest of us, painted the base color on Friday and finished all of the detail work on Saturday morning.
As you can see by the pictures on this page, our house turned out great. We are completely happy with the quality of the work and the way the finished product looks. All sides of the house look great, including the shutters, trim work all the way around, and the backyard shed. They even painted our front porch rocking chairs to match the shutters.
We definitely recommend that other Parker-area folks consider Greg the Painter for any of the interior or exterior painting needs.
